Fix your share step

If the share step of your widget doesn’t look as pretty as the screenshot, or shows a blank area, the wrong picture, or vague text, your page’s meta tags are missing or incomplete. This part displays the metadata of your page  – the widget cannot supply it.

  1. Open the share step directly: add ?proca_go=Share to your campaign page URL (case-sensitive: Share). Check what is shown – image, title, description.
  2. Set the missing meta tags on your page. On WordPress, use Yoast SEO’s “Social” tab on the page: set the social image (og: image), title and description. On other CMSs, set og:title, og:description, og:image in the page head.
  3. Reload the share step and check again. If it still shows the old data, refresh your browser cache.
  4. Social networks cache previews too. To force a re-check, use the platform’s debugger (e.g., Facebook Sharing Debugger, LinkedIn Post Inspector).
